Case study
Beltk: a Shopify storefront shaped around the brand
A Shopify store for an Egyptian electronics and mobile-accessories retailer, combining a branded storefront with navigation across multiple brands and product categories. Designed and built for Rekaz Digital.
- Client
- Beltk
- Platform
- Shopify
The challenge
Beltk needed a storefront that reflected its identity while presenting a wide range of electronics and accessories.
The main challenge was adapting an existing Shopify theme to the intended design, while keeping the catalogue easy to explore across brands, categories, and product options.
The approach
A theme tailored to Beltk
I designed and built the store from the ground up, using an existing Shopify theme as the foundation and customizing it with Liquid and JavaScript. I adapted the homepage to Beltk's design and product offering.
Clear product options
I customized the product pages and color-selection experience, bringing the available options into the product presentation.

Routes through brands and categories
I implemented the brand and category navigation, giving shoppers clear routes into the catalogue and relevant product collections.

The visuals present the store interfaces in portfolio compositions.
My contribution
Working through Rekaz Digital, I handled:
- Store design and Shopify implementation.
- Theme customization with Liquid and JavaScript.
- Homepage and product-page customization.
- Product color selection.
- Brand and category navigation.
The build used an existing Shopify theme as its foundation, with customization to suit Beltk's design and requirements.
The outcome
The store was delivered and launched successfully at beltk.com.
The completed work brings Beltk's identity, product catalogue, navigation, and product options together in a working Shopify storefront.
